Condolence: Herb was the last surviving founder of the Royal Canadian Naval Association. On behalf of the President, Executive,and member naval veterans' clubs from coast to coast, I express our deepest sympath and condolences to his family.We owe him a debt of gratitude which can never be repaid. He has "crost the bar" and "see his pilot, face to face", has rejoined his shipmates and loved ones who have gone before.

He certainly was one of a kind and touched the lives of so many people - young and not so young.
He will bring a lot of people from the corps back together as only he can even though it is thru his death.
