Condolence: Leitia was my friend for 35 years. I first met her at the Toronto Police radio room where we both worked. We bonded over making fun of Michael Bell furniture commercials. It was literally love at first site...someone who saw the world in a weird fun way. I have never laughed as much in a friendship. This past week I have been reflecting over all the time we spent together some sad most not. All memories ended in laughter.
I will miss her every day, but I will also laugh every day thinking of her.

Condolence: I was introduced to Leitia 24 years ago on a visit to the radio room....when her chair spun around....I knew immediately that I liked her....I mean.....really, really, liked her. Her smile was so warm and spread across her face like nothing I had ever seen! Fast friends we were,....not often seen.....but always knowing that we were never too far away...... The brightest light, has left this place.....and the saddest thought in my mind is.... how sorry I am for all those who never had the complete honor of knowing her. Always available to brighten your day and put all before herself...... How I will miss your surprise messages sent to me in the interoffice mail.....but I know my messages will arrive, in a variety of other ways..... Thank you Miss Leitia, for being an example to all of us of what, beauty, strength and grace truly is.....and for showing us how to live the heck out of this life, that we are so lucky to have.
