Leslie "Les" Occleston
OCCLESTON, Les, Retired OPG 30 years- service - Peacefully with family at his side on Thursday July 21, 2016 at his home at the age of 68. Les, beloved husband for 46 years of Marilyn Occleston (nee Brockbank). Much loved father of Sarah Occleston and Matthew Occleston. Proud Granddad of Madison, Robert and Aidan. Dear brother of Carole and Sue of England. Deepest thanks to Dr. Azi and nurses’ Chris and Sandy, and the whole Palliative Care team from Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the care and compassion given to Les. Friends may call on Friday August 5th from 3pm – 6pm to visit with Les’s family at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Memorial donations to Parkinson Canada or Lakeridge Health Oshawa-Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated by the family.
