September 24, 1918 - May 22, 2016
Passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Sunday May 22, 2016 at Hillsdale Terraces, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Julian Straszewski. Loving mother of Helen (Alina) Malarz (John), Theresa (deceased) and Krystyna. Cherished babcia of Rose and Maurice LaFlamme, Janet and Tim Cramp and Stan and Michele Malarz. Great babcia of Julianne (Dan), Jolene, Jackie and Billy. She was born in Jeziorany, Poland and is a member of St. Hedwig’s Women’s Rosary.
Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday May 26th from 6-9 pm. Rosary will be held at 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Hedwig’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday May 27th at 11 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
