O’Neill Mary “May” - Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Estates on Saturday February 9th, 2008 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband of forty years Lorne. Loving mother of Denise Kettela (Peter), John O’Neill, Joan Brooks ( Chris) and Helen O’Neill (Lorne). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Polly Mueller (Chris), Michael Kettela (Tracy), Neill Brooks, Steven Brooks (Ashley), Alan O’Neill, Amanda Ruscoe and Melanie Reid (Mark) and by her great grandchildren Jacob Kettela, Zachary Mueller, Emily, Megan and Cameron Kettela, Jakob Brooks, Curtis, Katrina, Brianna and Tasha O’Neill, Ashley, Shawna and Jessie Thompson, Cody, Dawson and Kennedy Reid. Predeceased by her parents Mary (Johnston) and James Hood, her sisters Anne Kennedy and Elizabeth “Betty” King, and her brothers Alec Hood, William Hood, Jack Hood and Neil Hood. She was the last of her family. Resting at The Armstrong Funeral Home 124 King Street East with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday February 14th, 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion #43 would be appreciated. Visitation 12 – 1 p.m Thursday.
