Condolences

Condolence From: Lina Zatzman
Condolence: We have fond, fond memories of Mert, he was always so kind to us and we loved when he and Ruth would drop in for a visit. He hired David for bis fort and only job at City Hall. We always speak of him with fondness and we know he will be missed by family and friends.

Condolence From: Jane McLaughlin
Condolence: Ruth, I am so sorry to hear of this sad news. I have fond memories of the good times we all shared in the City Hall Bowling League. Mert was always a great competitor and fun to be around. I was touched when the two of you would regularly drop in to visit me when I was working at the store. It was always a pleasure to see you both and renew old ties.

Mert was a true gentleman and will be missed by all who knew him. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Fondly Jane

Condolence: Memories Keep Those We Love Close to Us Forever

Hold fast to your memories,
to all of the cherished moments of the past,
to the blessings and the laughter,
the joys and the celebrations,
the sorrow and the tears.
They all add up to a treasure of fond yesterdays
that you shared and spent together,
and they keep the one you loved
close to you in spirit and thought.
The special moments and memories in your life
will never change. They will always be in your heart,
today and forevermore.

Condolence From: Barbara Connor and Jim Flemming
Condolence: Bonnie, Dennis and family.
I (Barbara Flemming at the time) worked with your lovely father at Oshawa City Hall for 10 years many years ago. He was one the kindest gentlemen I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I was a single Mom at the time and Meredith took the time to take my son, Jim, up on a flight from Oshawa to Lindsay for lunch. Jim is almost 50 years old now and remembers to this day how sweet Meredith was to him.
Condolences to the family on the loss of a truly remarkable man.
