Gone to be with her Lord on March 19, 2016 at Wynfield Nursing Home, in her 97th year.
Predeceased by her husband, Leslie, and her son, Albert.
Loving mother of Frances Clarke(Paul), Denise Yacknowiec(Dennis), and Janine Layzell(Bob). Cherished grandmother of Shannon(Jim), Chris(Melissa), Dawn(Dan), Sherri(Tim), Leanne(Dave)and Brad(Sarah). Great grandmother to ten adorable great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her special friend, Sharon McCullough, as well as by her many other extended family and friends.
Friends may call for visitation on Monday, March 21 from 5-9 pm at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME(124 King St. E., Oshawa), with a service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 11am on March 22. Interment to follow at Mt. Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either the Calvary Baptist Church Memorial Fund or Mill Stream Bible Camp in Omemee, ON are greatly appreciated.
