MILNER, Thomas Gerald “Tom” – Passed peacefully in his 83rd year with family at his side on Monday August 17, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Beloved husband of the late Janet Milner. Much loved father of Chris (Susan), Karen (Vince) and the late Steve. Proud grandfather of Katelyn (Dan), Rebecca, Andrew, Samantha and Joey. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Gladys Milner, and siblings Charles (Tiny), Elara-Tean (Bud), Ian (Tessie), Bradda (Bruce) and Carol (Ray) and Douglas. Tom will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his loving extended family and his many dear friends. Sincere appreciation to all of the in home care givers especially Brandy, Tasha, Shelley, the hospital staff especially Phillip and our family physician Dr. Dion and Kaitlyn . Friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday August 20th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Prayers during the visitation. Funeral mass at St. Mary of the People Church, Oshawa (Marion & Stevenson) on Friday August 21st at 11am. Interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
