My son was not a pretentious man. He was kind thoughtful and always thought of others. He wasn't traditional but he believed in tradition. All he ever wanted was to love and be loved. He did not care about riches. He was not materialistic. He loved the simple things like a happy song. A warm hug. The trickle of the river. The birds chirping. Ducks quacking. Fireflies all lite up. We only had 30 years together but it seemed like a lifetime. He tried to make every day special in his own way. He loved being with his friends. He would pick them up and before you knew it, there was always a party. He loved to smile and hated to see anyone cry. Today we remember Thomas with a smile and happy tune in our hearts.
