Condolence: Hard to believe it has almost been a year since Mr. Wield passed.To Mrs. Wield, Kirsty and Fiona, I pray that you have found solace in the fond memories that you have of him and that you will continue to do so in the future. Condolence: Transferred to 53 division in 1976 and worked off and on with Jack until I left in 86. Great person to know and work with. All the best to the family after your loss , a good man.

Condolence: Sorry to hear of the passing of a great guy. Working at the 42 Sub Station I saw Jack all the time. Jack always had time for you. He always made you feel welcome.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Jack while we were officers at 53 Division. He was a gentleman and always did the right thing. He was a proud Canadian but a prouder Scot. He was always proud to don his band uniform and represent his culture. Jack has moved on and I hope he got to take his drum with him and play alongside the piper on the path to heaven.
