Lamers: Johannes (John)

At Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Wednesday January 9, 2008, John at 75 years of age.
Beloved husband of Mia. Loving father of Eric and his wife Marie and Leslie and her
husband Memo Maquivar. Dear Opa of Graham, Abbey and Kai. John will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters: Thea Reynen and her husband Lambert, Henk Lamers and his wife Anne, Ben Lamers and his wife Mia, Herb Lamers and his wife Nell, Corrie Van de Vossenberg and her husband Adrian, Walter Lamers, Tony Lamers and his wife Jackie, Anne Tarabocchia and her husband Lawrence, Nelly Lamers, Martin Lamers and his wife Marian and Betsy Dupuis and her husband Omer, his step mother Grace, her sons, Joe, John and Jerry and their families. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. John is predeceased by his parents Harry and Lambertha Lamers. A special thank you to Dr. Eisenstat, Karen and the nurses in CCU for their care and compassion. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home 124 King Street East, Oshawa with
Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the People Parish on Monday January 14, 2008 at
10:30 a.m. Cremation. Prayers will be held in the funeral home Sunday at 7 p.m. Memorial donations to Children’s Aide Society would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
