Mary and Henry Van Vroenhoven

Hi Marie, I spent the last few hours sending you a condolence to the Armstrong Funeral Home and when I pushed "send" the Microsoft Internet would not open the site and it read " task aborted "and it lost my rather long email. Mia, Eric, Marie, Abbey, Graham and Lamers family, I am sorry to hear of Johns passing and Henry and I send our prayers and heartfelt sympathy. When you first meet John alot of people are left with the impression that he was a tough guy but once you get to know him I realized that he was a soft, direct, teddy bear. John loved his family and was a devoted grandfather. When needed he was there to either drop off or pick up his the grandchildren at the babysitters, at school or to look after them on sick days from school and Pa days. John even filled in when the babysitter was sick. He enjoyed spending time with his family and yes don't forget the Bingo. When I started to write this the first thing that came to mind was Lemon meringue pie and pudding I then read what Abbey and Graham wrote, and you guys forgot the "Dutch Cheese", home made applesauce and the sprinkles. John was proud of his grandchildren and his face light up as he showed you guys off to his friends at the church breakfast. He was so proud that Graham was an alterserver and that Abbey always remembered him at the back of the church and would help him hand out the bulletins. John led a good life he, "ran the race, fought the fight and he kept the Faith". John (Opa) will be missed. Mary and Henry.
